Abstract
Measurement of the Radium content of sea-water at thirteen stations along the Indian coast has been carried out. The Radium content varies from 0.86 10-16 g/ml to 4.6 x 10-16 g/ml. Higher values have generally been obtained at stations located in the neighbourhood of the confluence of some big river and the sea. Enrichment has also been detected at localities situated on monazite sand beaches in South India
