Abstract



Larval development of Metopograpsus maculatus under laboratory conditions is described. Five zoeal stages and a megalopa stage appeared at salinity 30 ppt and temperature 29-32 degrees C Larval characters are compared with other known Indian species viz Metopograpsus messor and M. latifrons
