Abstract



Age and growth studies for Sillago sihama (Forskal) from Karwar waters revealed that the fish attained a total length of 175 mm at the end of first year and 295 mm at the end of second year. von Bertalanffy's growth equation derived for length at age for the species by analytical and graphical methods
