A note on the larval development of the clam Sunetta scripta (Linnaeus)

Abstract



Laboratory stripped and fertilized eggs of Sunetta scripta developed to straight hinge veliger (Shell length : 100 mu m) in 24 hours. The umbo developed on the 4th day at a larval length of 140 mu m. The description of the larval stages is presented in the paper
