Influence of salinity and temperature on the hatching of brine shrimp, Artemia salina cysts

Abstract



Cysts of brine shrimp, Artemia salina were exposed to different salinities ranging from 5 to 100 ppt, and different temperatures (20 to 35 degrees C). Maximum hatching occurred at 35 ppt salinity and 30 degrees C.
